Yes, and desireable.  If would require an extra scan through the spreadsheet,
but that ought to be fast.

As an extension of this idea, one could in some circumstances work
around the problem, i.e., say "this spreadsheet uses the EXPM1 function
which Excel does not have -- use simpler, but less accurate, replacement?"
