Hello Gnome Developers,

I made a mock-up (see attachment) for a possible extension for the Gnome Shell.

The idea is basically to have four (or more) tabs for the workspaces in the top panel.

This would make it very easy to switch between the workspaces and there wouldn't be a need anymore to switch between applications.

I think this can bring the good old efficiency of Gnome 2 back.

I'm really interested in your feedback.
