RE: Help request re negative palm user ID number and palm-sync

D., thank you ever so much for the direction and help.

I will do another search through pilot-link archives again as I am now
certain that I don't have an unusual problem.  I sometimes find it very
difficult to find relevant information when doing a search.  With Pilot-link
I noticed that there isn't a "search archives" functionality as there is on
gnome-pilot.  I checked through a couple of the "View by Subject" archives
but gave up, too quickly I now realize.

As "Negative numbers for UserID should not be allowed on the Palm", I'll
have to think through a way to migrate my data from the Mac-Win-Palm
multisync environment to Linux-Mac-Palm multisync environment.  I will be so
happy to finally reformat my Win98 partition!

Does it make sense to report back to the list about my eventual success, or
is this problem obvious for most of you people so of little value?
