Re: Please help: gpilotd network sync

Hi,
Sorry i still didn't get an answer how to reply to those Gnome mailing
lists, so anybody please tell me where to find the info or how to do it.
Thanks!!

Back to my question:
====================
First of all many Thanks to David. I hoped i am very close to getting it
work (but maybe still miles away). I finally bought on Thursday an "old"
Palm m515 to sync Evolution as long as the Network Sync doesn't work, and
with the good old Palm i get Evolution synced AND the pi-nredir works fine
(see below):

[root MediaServer root]# pi-nredir -p /dev/ttyUSB1

Port not connected, sleeping for 2 seconds, 4 retries..
   Listening to port: /dev/ttyUSB1

Please press the HotSync button now... Connected

        Trying 192.168.1.100... Connected

But with the Sony UX50 i get an error with the same Network configuration:

[root MediaServer root]# pi-nredir -p /dev/ttyUSB0

Port not connected, sleeping for 2 seconds, 3 retries..
   Listening to port: /dev/ttyUSB0

Please press the HotSync button now... Connected

        Trying 192.168.1.100... Failed

Can somebody tell me, what this means?

Many Thanks for your great support

  (c8 Andreas
