Hi, is there a doc that explains what technologies should be used in
2007 to build a basic Gnome application using the C language? In
particular, something that describes what APIs should be used to "do
this and that", maybe with explicit warnings about what APIs are
currently deprecated and available only for backward compatibility? I
know some little Gnome programming and with some help from the community
I'd like to collaborate to write such doc (if it doesn't exist yet): it
would contain hints on how to write a single threaded app, with custom
GObjects and Glade integration, plus an explanation of all the latest
and greatest ways to build menus and toolbars and how to add a proper
Help and Credit window, how to pass params from the CLI and how to
generate a build script using Anjuta 2.0
Also, I noticed that many Gnome docs (articles, tutorials et cetera)
available on the Net don't have a date indicating the last time they
have been updated.
