I'm not sure exactly where this would be added but... 
all the gnome apps and gimp use seem to use the same file open dialog.
this dialog doesn't list dot directories, or even have an option to show
them. adding this would make it much easier for those of us who want to
scan thru the .enlightenment/pix directory using ee's preview mode or
edit a file in a hidden directory using gnp.
