An uneducated question: since there are many more languages with string
translations usually significantly longer than the English original, I'm
wondering why a long string is problem in this case specifically?

I guess that translators into the affected languages tend to take it for
granted that UI should be prepared for potentially longer texts, as this
is generally part of the i18n process.

Or am I missing something in the Orca case?
