I follow your conversation but I don't understand all what you are talking 
about.

What I understand (if not right then please correct me) is that you are 
discussing how to get the updates you have done on Glome to be able to use on 
Ubuntu.

What I would like to add is that in the state Glom is on Ubuntu I can't use 
it, evaluate or even test it for real as I can't even make a field to a text 
field. So to continue with more complex queastions doesn't feel like 
realistic right now.

I do hope you will find a way to be able to use your newer version because I 
really like Glome and the potential it has. I would be happy to help you with 
what I can but right now I don't know. If you want me to test something or 
whatever, just let me know.
