[Gimp-developer] 2.9 contrast/brightness much cpu heavier than 2.8

Today's git clone, image with 4 layers about 1000x800 pixel, calling the 
contrast/brightness dialog the cpu goes 100 when generating the preview.

In 2.8 (suse distro package) it's pretty much instantaneous.
