[gedit-list] Including regex search & replace in gedit-plugins

Hello,

I would like to know what I can do to have a regex search & replace plugin included in the gedit-plugins package.

I'm talking about this one: http://halfhourhacks.blogspot.com/2008/03/gedit-regular-_expression_-plugin.html

I don't have any experience developing gedit plugins, but I'm willing to learn, so that I can whip this one into shape for inclusion.

Any guidance appreciated.
