Re: esd oss and alsa



Exact same problem here, for now I'm attributing it to gnome2 being beta still. So I rebuilt another machine with RH7.3 and dropped ximian's gnoem2 snapshots on it throug red carpet. That worked well, but I think ximian is a few steps behind garnome (Garnome Rulez!).
I'm on Mdk 8.2, garnome 10.1
If someone knows what's going on,, I'de appreciate it.

esd, will just quite, rhythmbox just hangs there.

I'm running with oss sound drivers, and alsa not running.. so I'm not
sure whats happening, I'd appreciate any help. thanks.
