I don't want to roll the tarbal until those two patches are in. I'll watch svn log. I'll work through the builddir problem in the mean time.

I can try the patch out as well. We probably also need to revert the
srcdir/builddir patch as that broke the build. That should not require
a freeze break as it is for fixing the build.
