1. Download source code package (http://f-spot.org/Download)
2. Unpack it
3. Open po/de.po in some specialised editor like poedit or KBabel.
4. Update German translation.
5. Run 'msgfmt -o f-spot.mo de.po' to create a binary version of the
translation.
6. Run 'sudo cp po/f-spot.mo
/usr/share/locale/de_DE/LC_MESSAGES/f-spot.mo' to install updated
translation.
7. Rerun F-spot to see what has changed.

By the way, if you go for SVN version rather than 0.4.4 source code,
you need to run 'intltool-update de' inside po directory so that
translation file matches current code.
