Re: Video Support

Yes, that bug, while originally for audio clips attached to pictures,
has mainly been used for video support. The latest patch has been
reviewed and I will make the appropriate changes after I'm done with
my final exams at school (ie. likely next week). If that patch passes
round 2 of reviews then it is likely to be included in the source
code, but I have no idea if it will be in time for a release.
Stephane or lewing will have to make that decision.

btw, there are no plans to make f-spot a video editor at this time
(and likely there will be none in the future). F-spot will only
organize the videos, and delegate editing to an external application.

Hi Guys,

I was searching for video support in f-spot and i found this

Is this patch going to be merged and considered for release? Or should i
search for something separate to handle my small clips from my camera? I
just need to keep them all together, and not necessarily a full blown video
editor. (by the way, suggestions would be nice)

Alaa Salman
