Re: F- Spot encountered fatal error

Hi,

your first issue is symptomatic of something wrong with you dbus-daemon.
here's a workaround: in a term, type 'dbus-launch f-spot'.

the assembly version number is not an issue. versions post 0.2.0 will
have that version number right.

regards,

Stephane

I was able to download all the pictures as well as videos into my laptop (Dell Inspiron 6000). But a couple of days ago something was not right. When I connected my camera it threw an error. This is what it reads.

I also tried to install the latest f-spot (0.2.0), but unfortunately I am not able to run configure at all. I keep getting some errors about mono.pc not found or something like that. I do have the latest mono (I guess). I am a newbie to Linux and I would really appreciate if you can help me get this working properly. I have to say that, I was really impressed when I first saw F-Spot. Thank you for your time and effort in creating this software.
