Problem running on ubuntu dapper

I upgraded from Ubuntu Breezy (5.10) to Dapper (6.06), but I am still not able to run f-spot.  I am able to successfully compile the latest CVS version by following the How to Build
 instructions, (Thanks, Bengtt!), but I get the following when trying to run f-spot, either the stable version through the package manager or the latest CVS. I have attached the full error output, both for the stable version and the CVS snapshot. The output of the two is slightly different.

I have looked for the variable MONO_PATH isn't set, at least not in bash.
