What is strange about this is

That is not a legal gmail address, even. From the beginning, they
didn't
allow accounts with less than 6 characters.
You might have mistakenly tried to setup such account, but it should
never have succeeded (in which case you should have been receiving
the
error since trying to set up that one).

I have now removed the calendar that appeared automatically when I
added my graham.sivill(at)gmail.com to the "Online Accounts" in Mint's
System Settings and restarted Evo. It does seem to have worked as I
haven't noticed the warning since I did that. Will keep an eye on it
though and report back if it comes back.

As per your comment I agree that I didn't think you could set up
siv gmail com so I do not know why that appeared as one of the
calendars when I added my actual gmail account?? I actually checked my
Google account online to see if that address appeared anywhere in my
account settings but I can't find it so I don't have a clue why it
appeared in Evo?
