Hello. I was wondering if there were any plans to make Evolution look a little more modern? The

know I can theme things to some degree, but that

What does "a little more modern" mean? Remember that much of Evo's UI
is dictated by Gnome so there isn't that much scope for change.

"Modern" sounds to me as following the fashion to make desktop computer
apps looking like tablet PC and smart phone apps". We can't discuss
esthetic quality, but we could discuss GUI design related to the
provided features. If somebody should consider something flashy as
tablet PC and smart phone apps as "modern", s/he should keep in mind
that those apps don't provide even all necessary features a MUA should
provide, let alone useful, but nonessential features. Migrating the GUI
to that tablet PC and smart phone apps style much likely comes along
with dropping a lot of much wanted options.
