[Evolution] pin icon on appointment, why, how to remove etc

Some of my appointments get created with a pin icon. What is it for?
I haven't been able to figure out how it got there, how to get rid of it, or what it signifies. Nor can I find any reference to a pin in the docs.
Apologies if I am missing the obvious.
