Hello,
I'm using Evolution 2.30.3 on Ubuntu 10.10 (64 bit). I've had no
trouble connecting with my exchange server at the office. But this
morning when I connected, an error window popped up claiming Evolution
could not connect to the exchange server.
Yet I'm sending and receiving emails with no trouble. Meanwhile, when I
try to close the error window, it pops back up again. I can't get rid
of it. I've closed Evolution and related programs, then restarted. No
joy.
Any suggestions?
As I said in my previous message I had the same problem after I
upgraded this morning. Because this was on my home computer, I did not
have time to investigate. I've just got back from work and I did:
evolution --force-shutdown
deleted both the .evolution/exchange and .evolution/mail/exchange
restarted evolution and everything seems to be fine. I don't know
whether this is what really helped.
A nice thing with this updated version of evolution 2.30.3 (on Ubuntu
10.10) is that I no longer have to start it in offline mode (as
described in http://blog.dinel.org.uk/?p=200)
Regards,
Constantin
