[Evolution] Calendar items always get inserted as "private"

Hi,

Since a recent upgrade of evolution (exchange connector), each time I
add an item to my exchange calendar, it always gets inserted as
"private", even if I change it to public before saving. Once it is in
the calendar, I can re-open it and change it successfully.

Gentoo base:
Evolution 2.6.2-r1
evolution-exchange 2.6.0 (hmmm, maybe I should update this)
evolution-data-server 1.6.2
