File->Print->"Create a PDF Document"

You must be able to choose "Create a PDF Document" from the Gnome Print
dialog. 

This can be done programmatic by creating a single "Export as PDF"
menu-item too. If anybody interested doing it, send a patch and it will
be welcomed :)
