Hello Tod,
I'm using evo 6.2.6 and it behaves like you expect. Multi selection OK!
Left click doesn't show the mentioned plus sign.
My system:
Linux 2.6.15.1 i686 AMD Athlon(TM) XP 1700+ GNU/Linux
