Hi Andre,
thanks for your answers.
I killed all evolution-processes, moved a copy of the old ".evolution" folder
and also the ".gconf/evolution" to my new home-directory and restarted
evolution.
evolution-2.4 creates a new inbox-file in ".evolution/mail/local" named for
example "Inbox". my old stuff (mail and subfolders) is in ".evolution/local",
there is a folder (!) "Posteingang" (the german Inbox) and will not be
recognized.
Moving the "local"-folder to the right place is not helpful, because evolution
shows the right foldernames with subfolders (folder-metadata.xml,
local-metadata.xml, mbox, subfolders). Clicking on every subfolder produces the
error: "folder doesn't exist".
Only the mails are a problem. My Contacts are found in 2.4.1.
Cheers,
Raffi
