[Evolution] crashing on fetch

I've been using evo for a long time, and have added an imap account
about 1 month ago (from aol).

A couple days ago, evo started freezing occasionally when fetching mail.
It has progressively gotten worse.  Now I can't even move a mail from
the imap account into the local inbox.  

Any ideas what to look for?  I'm on mandriva 2005LE and evo 2.0.4
