Great -- I'm glad to hear your problems are solved. :)

Anyway, I actually explicitly tried to not overwrite the ~/.evolution
directory with your old information. Cause this may lead to data loss,
if you are using POP3 and already retrieved new mails (and planned to
keep them). By restoring the old backup, you might have overwritten
mails retrieved since the backup. If you did, I hope you have a fresh
backup handy as I suggested...

Of course, this does not apply to IMAP accounts. With an exception of
labels...
