Re: [Evolution] Converting data after 1.5.x installation

NotZed committed a fix for this the other day. Instead of using statfs()
he replaced it with statvfs() if it is available. Basically, it sucks to
have to try and figure out how much hard drive space is available in
Unix portably :-(

The following was posted some weeks ago and there was no reply. I have
searched to find any other mention of this problem but no success.
I cannot load evo 1.5.x because of a similar false reporting of space
available.
Please help!!

Subject: [Evolution] Converting data after 1.5.7 installation

Hello,

I've decided the time has come for me to try 1.5.7 snapshot. I've
installed it with no problem, but after I gave it a try it reports a
message box with following text:

----
Insufficient disk space for upgrade.

Upgrading your data and settings will require upto 257519 KB of disk
space, but you only have 97183 KB available.

You will need to make more space available in your home directory
before
you can continue.
----

Can someone share a thought with me where Evo gets a free space amount
information? There's almost 760 MB free on the partition where my home
resides...

Thanks a lot!

Ludek
