Along the same lines, when will we see Debian 3.0 (Woody) packages?

when Debian Woody is declared stable afaik

If anyone at Ximian is following Debian at all, they already know that Woody has
been frozen since May 1st. You may therefore release Woody binaries now.

Hmm, from looking at www.debian.org, I see nothing to the effect that
Woody has been declared stable. I also don't see anything announced on
or around May 1 saying that Woody has been frozen. Maybe I'm looking at
the wrong place, can you provide a URL?

<flameish> I think it's probably in-appropriate for you to tell Ximian
what they may and may not do. They DO have people who keep track of
Debian, and a great many other Linux based Operating Systems. When the
people following Debian find that Woody is ready, then they'll provide
packages for it. </flame>
