I'm not sure what evo's rule is, but I think it shows the last message
viewed in that folder. I would prefer that it *not* show the next unread
message, as the next message in my Inbox is often a big ugly spam. In
fact, I'd like to be able to move a message without clicking on it, so
evo won't have to render a spam before I move it to a spam folder.

I prefer not to check on startup, in case there was a problem with an
account or I want to change an account's "leave on server" settings
before initiating a check. But I can see where this would be a nice
feature for some users.
