[Evolution] Evolution crashes and looses date

hi :)

I switched to evolution a few days ago. After three years of searching
this seems to be the mail client I was looking for (using PM Mail under
OS/2 and AK-Mail under Windows during the years before I switched to
BSD). But nevertheless I'm encountering some bugs. Maybe it's my system,
but maybe it's evolution and someone of you encountered the same:

- Sometimes editing an account results in a frozen mail part or a
completely frozen application. I have to kill the mail part (using
blackbox window menu) and evolution tells me that I have to restart.
After restarting some of my accounts are broken. It seems that evolution
crashes while rewriting the configuration and leaves "empty" account
settings. After editing the account everything seems to be okay.

- If the mail part completely hangs and freezes up the application, I
have to kill evolution completely. After doing this I kill the other
running evolution "things" :). After restarting evolution it tells me
that it starts for the first time and I have to reenter all data
(everything is gone!). After killing every gnome stuff which is running
evolution sometimes works okay (with displaying my "old" data) or
refuses to run. I then have to completely delete the evolution-directory
and extract a backup...

- Moving folders does not update filters

- Summary does not allow the display of an IMAP-Inbox

- Contacts does not save the view I had used the last time.

- Contacts does not save changes I make to the view, like reordering the
colums.
