Re: [Evolution] Mozilla dependency

This isn't the problem, the problem is that Evolution (for SSL support)
depends on some of the mozilla libraries. This has nothing to do with
which browser to start when you click a link or anything like that.

However, the whole complaint is a waste of bandwidth because current
packages don't depend on mozilla any longer, they now only depend on
libnspr4 and libnss3 (which we now package separately).

Rather than even doing that, wouldn't it be better to have a browser
setup section?

e.g. Tools->Web Browser
and then be able to add one or more browser if you so choose. Then make
ONE the default, just like the mail settings?

Hi

Rather than make Evolution depend on Mozilla, wouldn't it be better to
strip out the required functionality from moz, and put it in a separate
library? When mozilla has stabalised, evolution could go back to using
mozilla.
