Re: [Evolution] Is anyone using Nautilus AND Evolution successfully?

Somewhat related question... I'm trying to build the current GAL frm
CVS. There is a spec file i nteh CVS source. I'd prefer to build an RPM
of it, and install the RPMs, just to keep my RPM database from getting
out of sync with reality.

Unfortunately, I get this:
[root gromit rpm]# rpm -Uvh gal-*
file /usr/lib/libgal.so.5.0.0 from install of gal-0.5.99.7-1 conflicts
with file from package libgal5-0.5.99.0-100_helix_2001021608

... any ideas? I'm not an RPM genius, here, but it seems that RPM should
accept the *newer* package to _Update the older package...

I am right now. Mailing this from Evolution while looking at picture
thumbnails from my digital camera using Nautilus. I installed Evo and
all of its updates first, one package at a time, and then Nautilus,
using the eazel installer. It errors at the end, but Naut seems to work
right anyway. Did this on three machines without a hitch.

I'm using Evolution CVS with Nautilus 1.0. I'd add that if you
want to use both at the same time, start up Nautilus first! If you
start up Evolution first, Nautilus won't load. I submitted a bug
report yesterday and posted to the Nautilus list.

I've found in the past that the Nautilus RPM modules are not in step

Has anyone got the latest 0.9 snapshot of Evolution to work with
Nautilus 1?
