It it supposed to work already? Or only planned?
The person who did the initial iMIP work left Ximian to go back to grad
school a while back, and that code hasn't been touched much since then.
I would have sworn that what you described should have worked, but
perhaps there's been some bit rot. Anyway, it will be fully working
before 1.0.
