[Evolution] IMAP folder format

Hi list,

I just encountered the following problem.
I'm using Evolution to read my mail that are located on an imap server.
Unfortunately that server crashed and the partition where my mail was
stored was damaged and I wasn't able to recover my mails. No problems I
thought, because they are also stored locally on my hard drive. The
problem is I don't know in which format they are stored so I don't know
how to restore them.

Is there a way to export/convert Evolutions local imap folders to
something that can later be imported into Evolution again.
