If you're having problems compiling, read the hints in the evolution
README about prefixes and GNOME_PATH.

I assume the RPMs you found are the Helix Code ones? If not, you may
want to remove them and grab RPMs from
ftp.helixcode.com:/pub/helix/evolution/...
