[Evolution] pop3 password issues

Hi all,

I'm getting an pop3 authorization failure ("Error sending password") with
evolution 0.0.

Details of pop3 server:
RedHat 5.2
qmail 1.0.3
checkpoppasswd [http://www.tibus.net/pgregg/projects/qmail/checkpoppasswd.c]

All the program expects is a username/passwd pair, so I don't really know
why it would be failing.  The logs for checkpoppasswd only show that it did
indeed fail.

Here is a telnet session testing the user/pass:
