[Evolution-hackers] Feature Suggestions?

Because it is my first post to the list, I am happy to say thank you to
all Evolution authors. You have much to be proud of.

I wasn't able to find a specific place to make feature suggestions, so
this seemed like a logical forum to find an idea pool.

I'll keep it short:

1) Shortcut bar: for each shortcut displayed, I find myself wishing
that the icons had a few attributes, such as shortcuts to mailboxes with
new/unread message turn a slightly different color and possibly have a
new/unread message count next to its label (like they do in the folder
list). Additionally, the icon can shade according to the corresponding
color coded flag of the highest-priority unread message in each folder.
The same could apply to the calendar (current # of
meetings/appointments, how near they are to Now).

2) Send/Receive button: Like the New message button, I would
frequently put to use a drop-down action menu allowing me to
send/receive for each account individually, either active or inactive.
I'm not a fan of feature/UI bloat, and the drop-down method is fairly
innocuous.

3) A context menu option, either right-clicked from the "To, From,
Subject, Date" (what's that pane's technical nomenclature?) pane or the
message preview pane, which would allow me to save multiple attachments
(say if I get a 15-attachment message from a buddy with a digital camera
who's vacationing somewhere especially visual) from a single dialog
window. Maybe something resembling the layout of the Filters editor
dialog.

If I have the wrong forum, please let me know and I'll happily aim this
elsewhere.

cheers,
