Nice to hear you're still at it. :)

The missing include is actually intentional as librsvg deprecated
including any other header than rsvg.h in 2.36.2.

Actually configure should have checked the version for you. Wonder what
went wrong there...

Either way is okay for small patches. For larger changes Bugzilla is
preferred because of the more advanced review capabilities we have
there.
