[Ekiga-list] dialpad is flaky

i'm having flaky reliability with the dialpad.  it works
ok on the initial dialing.  but during a call session,
it mostly doesn't.  eg, hitting a number to navigate an
automated menu.  it's like the tone isn't being sent.

any ideas?
