Re: read visio drawing in a word document

Independent if the solution provided by Michael Ross will work, I do not know, but have you used print screen? With Paint you could select the visio diagram. Or you could paste the image first in Paint, then save it and try opening that in Dia.

How to take a screen image of the visio diagram?
I selected the visio diagram by the mouse, right clicked and run the "Copy" menu in MS Word.
The "Paste" menu in Dia is not highlighted so I cannot paste.
