Subject: Aching arm after editing

I just had to edit the fonts of all (!!) text-boxes to something our
uni-windows-machines could deal with :) And I can tell you without
exagerating: My arm hurts now! It would be great to implement something
to select all boxes, and edit the fonts all at the same time.

When I selected all, it only changed the font of the last one selected.

Thanks for listening ;)

Please file a bug report in Bugzilla (there may already be a bug on this
topic) certainly we all would like to be able to apply settings to
multiple objects but Dia is worked on by volunteers with little time to
spare (or enthusiastic but underskilled amatuers like myself).

If I were you I would have used a text editor to do a find and replace on
the xml source of the .dia file. (In case you didn't know .dia files are
XML sometimes Gzipped XML if you have chosen the compression option).

Hopefully you can get the Bitstream Fonts on your Windows machines too and
then use them across all platforms, which is what I have been trying to
do. I never actually installed the Bitstream fonts but I'm pretty sure
they came with Mozilla (or possibly OpenOffice) and they have been a
really great addition, I guess I should go say thanks to Bitstream.

Sincerely
