Jerry: Note that gnome-volume-manager on Solaris is a bit old. I know the team at Sun responsible for integrating HAL plans to update to the latest gnome-volume-manager code when they update to the latest HAL code. You might want to work with them to find out if the below issue is caused by the fact that we aren't using the latest and greatest gnome-volume-manager/HAL code. Brian
gnome-volume-manager disables automount by default. The reason is that Nautilus handles it, as it said in configure.ac. But after a rough investigation, nautilus don't handle automount. So I'm a little confused here. Thanks, Jerry _______________________________________________ desktop-devel-list mailing list desktop-devel-list gnome org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/desktop-devel-list
