eject buttons on the places menu

Since version 0.5.1, Tomboy is offering a way to pin important notes by pressing a pin icon at the side of the note,like this:

I think that implementing a similar solution on gnome-panel's places menu would be rather useful. Here you can see a small mockup I made:

What do you think? Would it be very hard to implement? Is there anyone against the idea?
