Unable to get GLE output for applets

Hi,

I just tried extracting GLE output for the applets but i couldn't
succeed. This is what I did:

(1) set GTK_MODULES to libgle
(2) launch gnome-panel-2
(3) launched applet by right clicking on the panel
(3) Hit ctrl + alt + tab on the applet
(4) The GLE comes up but reports the output only for Panel and not the
applet. The selector in GLE doesn't get focus on the applet frame.
(5) It, however, works for application launched through the application
option in the menu (and not the applets that get added)

Please let me know the right approach..
