Many .desktop file patches

At the moment my real job involves waiting for a 15 minute build
cycle... so I grabbed desktop-file-validate from freedesktop.org and
attacked my /usr/share/applications.

http://www.burtonini.com/computing/desktop-patches.tar.gz is the
result.  Mainly I:

* make the Categories more explicit
* added Encoding=UTF-8
* removed duplicate entries
* removed Info entries (I guess these are left over from gnome1)
* ensured the Categories field was ; terminated

Could the module maintainers please have a look over these patches and
check they are sane. If they would like to commit them as well that
would be great :) I can commit them myself but that will take time, as
I don't have much of GNOME2 checked out. Also, should these go into
HEAD, or the gnome-2-0 branch as well?

Regards,
Ross
