Re: [Banshee-List] gtk3 branch testing

Hi,

Thanks for starting the discussion about this, I was just thinking
about doing it.
Just a few quick comments below, I'll get more into the issue in a later e-mail.

I'm still working on the SearchEntry widget, I hope to get that
committed tonight or tomorrow.

A parallel mono is not necessary (I don't have one), if the version of
mono on your system is recent enough (gtk# requires mono 2.8 or
above).
All of the new library versions needed can be installed alongside
previous versions. Yay for assembly versionning !

The "./configure" step for Banshee should check that all the right
versions of the dependencies are present. If it doesn't and the build
fails later, please do tell us about it (see below).

Specific bugs in our gtk3 branch can already go to bugzilla, just make
sure you mention gtk3 in the bug title. And please also make sure that
you are reasonably confident about how you've built Banshee and its
dependencies.
This mailing-list goes out to hundreds of people, and it's not the
best way to keep track of bugs. ;)
