On a related note, it would be cool to have some system in Banshee to
allow the same file to be used for two entries in the database to
allow the same song on two albums to only be stored once.  This
obviously has some caveats:

1. The song can't be different (since some songs are mixed for
compilations).  This case does not apply since they are actually two
different audio streams.

2. Banshee's metadata writing code would have to identify one as the
"master" copy of the track, and not update the metadata for the other
copies.

Not a huge deal, but could be a nifty feature.
