Those are standalone executables, so no Banshee cannot use them. Banshee
and GStreamer does not work that way. A ripping program that lets you
specify an external app (like "NeroAacEnc" instead of "lame" or
"oggenc") such as Grip may be able to.

Man, that sucks. It's too bad nobody has hacked a way to get it to work with
Gstreamer. I like Nero's AAC better than FAAC. Also, from what I've heard on
some sites is that FAAC can be funny on playback.

Regardless, is there a way to rip CD to F's AAC?
