[Banshee-List] Ipod losing songs

I installed Banshee 1.4 on my Ubuntu 8.10 amd64 laptop and after
loading songs into my iPod classic 160 Gig my iPod informs me that I
have zero songs on it.

If I plug the iPod to the computer and run either Banshee or Rhythymbox
I see the songs. After ejecting the iPod after using Rhythymbox all my
songs re-appear on my iPod.

Is there something I am doing wrong?
