[Banshee-List] Banshee 1.0 and 1.4 no sound

using openSUSE 11.0, so when i first installed openSUSE i was able to listen
to about 3 .mp3 tracks, then for some unknown reason Banshee just stopped
working. ok so maybe it didn't stop working, but what is happening is that
when i hit play it acts as if it is playing, the time bar starts moving, but
there is no sound, other apps get sound, have sound through flash players,
Firefox, and any other media player, its just annoying not to be able to use
banshee as it was intended.  Anyone with a a fix would be appreciated. Thank
you!! sorry if this has been addressed but i couldn't find anything about
it. thanks in advance!
